Materials:

  • Sterling silver: Sterling silver is a standard material in high quality jewelry. It is precious metal alloy made of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metals. This is a wonderful base material because it is long-lasting and flexible.

 

  • Gold vermeil: (vehr-may) A high quality type of gold-plated jewelry. Its base material is sterling silver and it has a thick layer of gold plating for long-lasting color and shine. The gold must be at least 10k and the plating at least 2.5 microns thick to be labelled “gold vermeil” according to US Federal Trade Commission regulations. Jeanne's gold vermeil pieces are made with 925 silver and plated with a thick layer of 14k gold.

  • We sell directly to customers, cutting out the unnecessary costs and crazy markups that make jewelry extraordinarily expensive. We pass the savings on to you, so you get the same quality at a 1/3 or 1/4 of the typical cost.
